RSG listeners will recognise her name. She regularly gives expert legal advice on the RSG programme Regsake.
Est-Marie’s academic journey began in Potchefstroom at the North-West University, where she obtained her LLB degree with distinction in 2014. Her outstanding academic performance earned her an invitation to join the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society. This recognition was just the beginning of a stellar career in law.
In 2015, Est-Marie joined Van Velden-Duffey. Her passion for law and her meticulous approach quickly set her apart. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in various areas of law, specialising in general High Court and Magistrates’ Court Civil Litigation. Her expertise includes handling evictions, rental disputes, contractual disputes, damages claims, National Credit Act matters, Consumer Protection Act matters, and debt reviews.
Her leadership and legal acumen have been invaluable to our team. In 2024, she furthered her legal education by completing her LLM with distinction, again demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Throughout her career, Est-Marie has been highly regarded for her meticulous approach to legal matters and her commitment to providing personalised and results-driven legal services. Her ability to navigate complex legal issues with precision and care has earned her the respect of both colleagues and clients.
